A MILLION STAR HOTEL

"Erasing a piece of the past, you expunge a similar piece of the future". These words where written by the famous, Nobel price-awarded, Greek poet G. Seferis in his effort to stress the importance of maintaining a country’s heritage and cultural identity. The essence of this phrase motivated Dr. Nestoras Michael in his effort to rebuild the Kostaris Complex.

Kostaris complex is situated on the top of the hill of Goudivillage. It is a stone built complex of three individual traditional houses, sharing a common yard and a flourishing garden, with its traditional oven, wine-press and a share swimming pool with a matchless view.

The houses were restored with traditional methods and their furniture and fittings remind us of the true Cypriot character of the houses of the past. These restored lodgings create a warm and characteristic atmosphere that will be imprinted deep in your memory.

The view from Kostaris Complex is panoramic and if you manage to let yourself free, you will immediately feel reinvigorated. You will be astonished by the impetuous change of the valley’s colours throughout the seasons of the year and additionally, by the magnificent spectacle of million radiant stars embracing you each night.

The Kostaris Complex is consisted by three, listed as traditional, houses, which combine in perfect harmony the Cypriot cultural and architectural identity, providing to the guests the comforts and conveniences of a modern, high-standard residence. The complex is one of the pioneer members of the Cyprus Agrotourism Company, an autonomous unit supported by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation.

Having Kostaris Complex as a base you can experience a totally new, alternative holiday ideal. The Cypriot nature and landscapes, in addition to its unique cultural life and habits, offer a wide selection of options to the visitor, like: walking down nature trails (especially the National Park of Akamas), visiting to historical monasteries, archaeological sites, tasting traditional recipes and sweets, taking part in folkloristic festivals. You can also do horse riding, bird watching, painting, pottery, golf playing or dabble at botany. In other words, you have the opportunity to discover images of incomparable beauty, millions of different scents, the real life of the country.

Of course, if you prefer a more modern holiday approach, the small town of Polis is only 10 minutes drive from the Goudi village, where restaurants, shops, bars can be found and the beaches of Latchi at a 15 minute drive. In Skoulli village, which is about 5 minutes by car, you can find two supermarkets. The city of Paphos is located about 30 minutes by car and the PaphosInternationalAirport is located about 45 minutes by car.
